Progetto India,The Shelter - 2 real stories

I met BINITA for the first time in her village few months back. She is 5 years old and she has a very small problem as mentally retarded. She shocked me for her big and curious eyes, asking only to be loved and listened. Her father is working with a bycicle as a ricksaw man and her mother is a housecleaner in a rich family. Binita has two smaller sisters, and all together they are living in a small and poor room. After few meeting the parents asked me support for Binita and especially for her instruction. So I tryed to find out a school for her. I was ready to support her in all the expensive but no one school was ready to accept the girl cause her mentally retard. The last chance can be to find out a place ready to give to Binita hospitality, something like an institute. Anyway it is not easy and so....Binita is waiting. She is waiting for somebody ready to accept her.....she is waiting for a change....she is waiting..........

DEEPAK is a boy eight years old. Once I met him in the darkness. It was already night and I was going around bringing help to the people in a small village. He was laying dowun in his room with a lot of dressing in his body and his head. His mother at once asked me to go inside and visit him. I did it. He was very brave to let me touch all his wounds and so I could change all the dirty medications. They told me that a bike crashed him on the road and after that left. They are too much poor family to provide every day to change medications and to give medicine. His family is 5 people, with one brother and one sister, mother and father.
